The Solaris Summit Global Leadership Development Programme is a love-based, whole-person-centred, empowering experience designed for purpose-driven senior Black businesswomen leaders at the highest levels of their organisations.
There is no question that as a black woman in the c-suite you are there because of your track record or performance delivery, your values, your innate talent and your skills. Now that you are there, it is time to fully embrace your light, not only for the benefit of your colleagues, your stakeholders, your allys and your sponsors, but also for those looking up to you.
This programme is a transformational leadership experience created exclusively for Black women in the C-Suite who are shaping the future of business, culture, and society. This is not about teaching you how to lead because you do this every day. Solaris Summit is about giving you the space, the tools, and the community to expand your influence, sharpen your strategic edge, and amplify your impact at the very top. It will give you the ability to comprehensively and competently demonstrate the attributes of Love-Based Leadership at the most senior levels. Most of all, it is about enabling you to fully embrace your light and the ability to fulfil your life’s purpose.
At the highest executive levels of organisation, success is all about relationship and relating. Solaris Summit therefore focuses on continued personal and professional growth whilst emphasising the importance of creating a safe and confidential space where the nuances of difference experienced can be explored and solutions shared without censure or retribution with like-minded professionals and executives.
At this level, leadership is not about acquiring skills—it is about expanding influence, owning your space, strengthening networks, and leaving a legacy. Solaris Summit offers the space, the tools, the sisterhood, and a wider community to help you achieve exactly that.
Are you one of our Delegates?
If you are a woman who identifies as Black and you sit in the c-suite reporting to a CEO or are reporting to a Direct Report of the CEO/C-Suite Executive and shaping the future of business, culture, and society, this is the programme for you. You will be committed to leaving a legacy of impact, making a difference in society and a desire to open the door for others coming behind you.
In addition, you will have:
A minimum 18 – 20 years’ work experience
At least 5 years senior management experience of leading others
A c-suite or equivalent executive role – e.g. CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, CMO, CHRO, CPO, CDO or be on the succession plan for such and/or equivalent roles.
You will be in a role with significant strategic responsibility for the company/division/region
A track record of driving transformation, innovation and growth for your organisation
The ability to demonstrate a commitment to making a difference beyond the boundaries of your formal role
A Black woman C-suite leader with a desire to make a difference
In possession of a vision to make a difference to her community and her organisation
A demonstrable track record of leading and driving transformation, innovation or growth
Committed to expanding her influence for the benefit of others
Keen to lift as she continues to rise
A life of contribution – mentoring, sponsoring, supporting and advocating – for others regardless of their background and experiences
A belief in the value of love-based leadership in organisations
A keenness to shape the future of her organisation and industry
A desire to give back to her profession and beyond the boundaries of her organisation over time
A commitment to grow personally whilst contributing to the collective growth of others
An openness to share, support and build alongside other leaders like you
A willingness to contribute to the wider Solaris Academy Global Network over time.

Embrace Your Light!
This is not a generalist program. It is an investment in your specific journey, focusing on the unique challenges and opportunities Black women leaders at the most senior levels of their organisations face. You will gain a peer network that understands your journey, can relate to your experiences no matter how nuanced, and you'll leave with a clear, actionable plan to strengthen your confidence, cement your self-assurance and build a lasting impact. You will leave knowing and having the tools and resources to continuously and continually embrace your light.
Key Components of our programme
Solaris Summit is a highly interactive and engaging transformational leadership programme for black women leaders and women leaders who identify as black in the c-suite or reporting to the c-suite, in their organisations. It is whole person centred and touches every aspect of your life. Because the size of our groups are small, you have the opportunity to establish meaningful relationships cultivated in an atmosphere of learning and safety with high support and high challenge in equal measure.
